The FireWire 800 DV Kit is a 32-bit PCI adapter that includes 2 external 1394b (9-pin) and 1 external 1394a (6-pin) ports, DV editing software, and a 6-pin to 4-pin DV cable. It supports serial bus data transfer rates up to 800 bps. It works with various types of FireWire 800 (1394b) and 1394a devices including portable hard disks, DV camcorders, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives, digital cameras and other audio/video device.
