The FireWire 800 M-64 is a cross-platform 64-bit PCI adapter designed for both PC and Mac systems and includes 3 external 1394b ports (9-pin), a 9-pin to 9-pin 1394b cable, and a 1394b 9-pin to 6-pin adapter (to use with 1394a devices). It supports serial bus data transfer rates up to 800 Mbps. The built-in 4-pin power connector can be used to receive extra power supply from system. This adapter works with various types of FireWire 1394b and 1394a devices including portable hard disks, DV camcorders, digital cameras, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives and other audio/video devices.
